It’s official, we’re counting down to Christmas. But before then, you can stop by the parish of Arroios, in Lisbon, to enjoy a diverse range of events.
From December 13 to 15, there are concerts waiting for you and a book launch, all of which are free to attend. Shall we take a look at the calendar?
Christmas in Arroios
According to a press release from the Arroios Parish Council, on the first day of Christmas in Arroios, December 13 (Friday), a concert by Ena Pá 2000 is scheduled for 21:00.
The show will take place in Largo do Intendente, and is notable for its charitable nature. The audience attending the concert is asked to bring a non-perishable food item for pets.
On Saturday, December 14, at 4pm, Orquestra Geração (a social inclusion project) will perform at Camões Secondary School, in Praça José Fontana. With an equally charitable nature, the idea is for the audience to bring a non-perishable good that will be donated to the students who make up the orchestra.
Finally, on December 15 ( Sunday), the São Lázaro Library will host the launch of the children’s book “How to create a Library”, written by Inês Fonseca and illustrated by André Letria.
