If you exclude paradise destinations and long-haul trips, through the various search engines you can find real bargains on cheap flights that put you in another country – or even another continent – without emptying your wallet, let alone your bank account.
For the purpose of this search, which was to find cheap flights from Lisbon, used the Skyscanner, which is one of the best known, but we could also have opted for the Kayak or by Google Travel.
And what we found, for departures on July 1st in economy class, was this direct flight to Tangier, in Morocco, departing Lisbon at 10pm and arriving at the destination at 11.15pm, on the low-cost airline Ryanair.
Only 7 euros more expensive, for 22€, you can fly to neighboring Spain, to Seville. And for 30€ you’ll be in Madrid in less than an hour.
And if we open the purse strings even more, but not too much, for just €50 there’s a flight that takes you to Bordeaux in France.
As you can see, even in the middle of the vacation season, it ‘s not that expensive to fly to an international destination.
It’s true that you won’t be going very far, or to the most popular vacation destinations during the summer, but you can still enjoy some very interesting trips that are perhaps more cultural than summery.
The flight times, as you can see from the searches, are not the most famous. They usually take place at night, which can be an obstacle. But seen from another point of view, it could be the perfect time to escape after a stressful day at the office.
