Vhils, o mais famoso artista urbano português, continua a dar que falar. Desta vez, é notícia a obra “6 de Maio”, que rendeu 30 mil euros num leilão solidário.
Este trabalho foi criado para a exposição “Do Tirar Polo Natural”, que esteve patente no Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, em Lisboa.
Nele, Vhils recriou a face de três moradores do bairro da Amadora, que tem passado por várias demolições nos últimos anos. O objetivo passou por dar rosto a quem vive naquele local, levando para o interior do museu uma franja da população que raramente está representada em espaços como este.
Dos 30 mil euros da venda, 40% (12 mil euros) serão doados à Associação 6 de Maio, enquanto a restante parte (18 mil euros) reverte para uma campanha de angariação de fundos do Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, destinada a restaurar a Capela das Albertas.
