A partir de 17 de maio, se passares numa passadeira da avenida Almirante Reis vais olhar para um lado, olhar para o outro e… refletir sobre a questão da homofobia.
É, pelo menos, esse o objetivo de uma iniciativa inédita que pretende assinalar o Dia Internacional de Luta contra a Homofobia, Transfobia e Bifobia.
A ideia foi lançada pelo CDS-PP na Assembleia de Freguesia de Arroios e aprovada por unanimidade.
“Esta efeméride celebra-se a 17 de maio por ter sido nesse dia em 1990 que se retirou a homossexualidade da Classificação Internacional de Doenças da Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS)”, escreve a proposta do partido.
Assim, nesse dia, as passadeiras junto aos números 1 e 13 da avenida Almirante Reis vão ser pintadas com as cores da bandeira LGBTI (lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, transgénero e intersexo), chamando a atenção de todos para esta questão.
