Lisbon is getting ready to laugh (a lot) and seriously; after a dazzling debut in 2025, with more than 10,000 people, the Worten Mock Fest has just confirmed its return to the iconic Cinema São Jorge on August 28, 29, and 30.
For three days, the city will once again be the epicenter of national and international stand-up comedy, this year featuring three big names in world comedy.
Three days, three titans of world humor

Chris D’Elia, Michelle Wolf, and Sam Morril will raise the bar for this comedy festival in Lisbon, owners and authors of some of the biggest solos on major streaming platforms and late-night shows.
The return of Chris D’Elia, on August 28
The start of 2026 belongs to Chris D’Elia, known for the podcast “Congratulations” and a succession of successful Netflix specials such as “Man on Fire” and “No Pain.” D’Elia is a master of physical observation and frenetic energy on stage.
The sharp wit of Michelle Wolf, on August 29
Known for delivering one of the greatest comedy performances at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, and for Netflix hits such as “It’s Great to Be Here,” Wolf brings her cynical and intelligent humor that has made her one of the most relevant voices of her generation.
The Sam Morril phenomenon, on August 30

To end on a high note, New Yorker Sam Morril, a true YouTube phenomenon before winning over Amazon Prime subscribers with his special “You’ve Changed,” will take the stage at Cinema São Jorge. Also noteworthy is his podcast “Might Be Drunk,” which already has over 100 million views.
Highlighting the “live” podcasts

Worten Mock Fest has just raised the bar for its second edition, with the festival celebrating the culture of podcasts and digital entertainment with heavyweight additions to the national lineup: Bumba na Fofinha, Os Primos, and the Cubinho collective are some of the new confirmations that promise to bring digital humor and reflection to the stage in a live format.
These names are joined by the projects “Assim Vamos Ter de Falar de Outra Maneira” and “Palácio da Ajuda,” consolidating the festival as the go-to event for those who want to see their favorite content creators off screen.
How to secure a place (tickets and dates)

For now, only the international stars have been confirmed, but judging by last year’s lineup, new Portuguese names are promised soon.
As was the case last year, demand for a place at São Jorge to watch these stand-up comedy shows promises to be high; tickets for each day are already on sale, starting at €45.
