Of course, most of these Thai restaurants in Lisbon don ‘t only offer dishes from this country, so we’ve chosen those that, in our opinion, cook them to perfection… or almost!
But first of all, why do we love this Asian cuisine so much? You’ll find the answer in each of the places we’ve visited, but we believe that one of the main reasons is that this cuisine is so rich in flavors and aromas, ranging from fresh ingredients to spicy dishes, all of which are a delight for those who enjoy these recipes.
The variety of this cuisine is another reason, with dishes ranging from the well-known Pad Thai to the traditional Green Curry, or from Tom Yum soup to Satay kebabs.
Not to mention the ambience and decorative pieces that embellish some of these spaces, although in some more than others, of course, but all of them transport us on a journey full of senses to Thailand. And to accompany your meal, don’t hesitate to order a “fresh” Thai beer.
So, if you haven’t yet tried these exotic flavors, with intense perfumes and full of freshness, you should bookmark this list of the best Thai restaurants in Lisbon.

JNcQUOI Asia
If there is one place in Lisbon that takes Asian cuisine to new heights, it can only be JNcQUOI Asia, where you can find some of the most interesting Thai dishes in the city.
This is undoubtedly the most beautiful and best decorated Asian-themed space, but when it comes to the food we can only recommend the Chicken Green Curry (31€) with Baby Corn, Basil, Chilli and Jasmine Rice. The Chicken Satay Kebabs (15€) with Peanut Sauce and Cucumber Salad are also a good option, for example, as a starter, as is the Tom Yam Goong Soup (21€).

Boa-Bao
The Boa-Bao restaurant offers a very large – and, by the way, very beautiful – space, but the truth is that it’ s not easy to get a table at the busiest times for lunch or dinner. So our tip is to go 30 to 40 minutes before “rush hour”.
Serving traditional recipes from Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, China and, of course, Thailand, it’s no wonder that everyone wants to try the delicacies served at Boa-Bao . But while we’re on the subject of Thai cuisine, don’t miss the chance to try the famous Massaman Coconut Curry (€18.50 for chicken), a very mild dish that mixes meat with potatoes, peanuts and coconut milk, the Tom Yum soup (€17.90), and something fresher but very invigorating like the Laab Gai (€14.25), which is a minced chicken salad with Thai herbs.

SOI – Asian Street Food
A long time ago, we went to try the executive menu at this place near Mercado da Ribeira, in Cais do Sodré.
We loved what we tasted, but today we’re going to focus on the Thai dishes on offer, where you have to try the Massaman Curry (27€) , the famous Thai Panang Curry (16€ ), the Tom Yum Goong soup (15€) and, of course, the wide variety of Pad Thais, with chicken (16.50€), prawns (18.50€) and vegetables (14.50€).

Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, from 12pm to 6pm and from 7pm to 11pm; Fridays and Saturdays, from 12pm to 6pm and from 7pm to midnight

Mixed Martial Rice
One of the more humble Thai restaurants in Lisbon is this place in Benfica, a little “hidden”, but well worth the trip to try two dishes that have been much talked about.
We’re talking about the one that serves, in our opinion, the best Vegetarian Pad Thai in town, and the original recipe (14€) is also cooked to perfection by owner Nuno Colaço, who also sells the traditional sour soup Tom Yum Goong (8.90€), which has flavors from another world. And don’t forget that until the end of this year, there’s a Pad Thai promotion going on, with these dishes being served for just €9.50.
Address: Rua Cecília Meireles (S. Domingos de Benfica Market)
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm to 3pm and from 7pm to 10.30pm
