When it comes to sunsets in Lisbon, few would dare say that the one at São Jorge Castle isn’t one of the best in the city. Now imagine what it’s like to be able to watch concerts and DJ sets at sunset in one of Lisbon’s most incredible monuments!
If you can’t imagine it, we can assure you that they are a spectacle! Even if you don’t know any of the artists performing there – there will be five this year – we’re sure you ‘ll love the musical atmosphere at this time of day.
A memorable event
The 2025 edition of “Sunset at the Castle” once again brings to one of the best views in the world a truly incredible event that you ‘ll never forget.
The most visited monument in the country, which is part of the spectacular list of our favorite viewpoints, returns with some of the latest names in Portuguese music, and what’s more, admission is free (subject to capacity).
Musical program
The 2025 edition will bring a wide variety of sounds to Castelo de São Jorge:
- YNES: August 2
- AGNES: August 9th
- DJ Fellaz: August 16
- DJ RMA AKA Rui Miguel Abreu: August 30th
When will it happen?
The “Sunset at the Castle” concerts will take place every Saturday throughout August, always starting at 7pm.
Based on what we’ve seen in previous editions, you’re in for some of the best sunsets in the city, an otherworldly view and a diverse musical program, in five truly memorable evenings.

Times: August 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 (Saturdays) from 7pm
Tickets: free (on the day of the concert and a maximum of two tickets per person, from 6pm)
