The solar eclipse on Wednesday, August 12, has been the focus of attention for countless media outlets, as well as for those curious about rare phenomena. In this context, it’s no surprise that there’s a growing number of events and themed activities related to observing the solar eclipse, both in and outside of Lisbon.
For example, at Santo Amaro Beach in Oeiras, a free viewing event is being organized , featuring a DJ set and guided sessions. However , this isn’t the only option. For those who prefer spectacular views in Lisbon, Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View is organizing a special event to mark this summer’s most anticipated astronomical phenomenon.
What can you expect from the event?
In a press release sent to Lisboa Secreta, the organizers explain that one of the capital’s highest vantage points will host the solar eclipse, offering certified eclipse glasses to everyone who purchases a ticket at the Amoreiras reception desk between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., with a limited supply of 400 pairs.
Please note that, in the event of a line, the time spent at the top will be limited to 15 minutes.
