In Lisbon since 2022, Mama has announced several new developments since it moved to Rua do Vale de Pereiro, near Rato and Avenida da Liberdade.
First there was the inauguration of the hotel and restaurant, then the presentation of its more than complete and tasty Sunday brunch… both of which we have already tried and approved and loved!
A dreamy ninth floor
Summer calls for terraces and rooftops, we know! That’s why this was the perfect time to toast Lisbon with yet another terrace, which joins our most distinguished collection of these spaces in the capital.
Mama Shelter Lisboa’s rooftop promises unforgettable days and nights, with one of the best views in Lisbon, from the ninth floor with an unobstructed panorama.
It reopened on March 27 and promises to dazzle all those who visit it to enjoy the bar, with an incredible range of drinks and food: signature cocktails, snacks and finger food, now with a new menu created by Chef José Luís Miranda, inspired by his gastronomic experiences around the world, with intense flavors and surprising combinations.
A place to relax
On the terrace of Mama Shelter Lisboa you’ll have plenty of space to stretch your bones, on the Balinese beds, on the sun loungers and in other comfortable areas, perfect places to enjoy a drink at the end of another working day.
A pergola, lots of plants and decorative lights make up the rest of the design features of this new space in Lisbon.
Panoramic landscape, with music
There’s no doubt that Lisbon is a city cut out for rooftops. On most of them you can see some of Lisbon’s best landmarks.
And, in the case of the Mama Shelter terrace, you’ll be able to see everything from the São Jorge Castle to the 25 de Abril Bridge, including the Estrela Basilica and Cristo Rei.
DJ Sets on Fridays and Saturdays
To ensure there’s never a shortage of fun, and as is already the case in other areas of this hotel, this rooftop has a unique selection of music and a DJ station that promises unforgettable even ings.
Starting in April, the rooftop will feature DJ sets every Friday and Saturday, guaranteeing the perfect atmosphere for enjoying good music and stunning views over the city.
The Mama Shelter Lisboa rooftop has capacity for 200 people and will be open every day from 5pm to 11pm.
