
Lisbon is getting ready to once again experience the city’s biggest party, in yet another edition of Santos Populares. And the first neighborhood to open the festivities is Santos, through the Santos em Santos event, which returns to Terrapleno from May 16 to June 15.
Lots of musical entertainment, traditional food and drink and, of course, free entry to have a great time at one of the biggest festivals in the city.
Santos festival program
The festival starts on May 16 and runs until June 15 with lots of fun and music, including concerts by Saúl, Quim Barreiros, Carapaus Azeite e Alho and Rosinha, among many others:

More than an arraial: a Lisbon experience
As well as music and food, the event includes various entertainment, making it an option for families and groups of friends looking to celebrate Santos Populares by the Tagus River.
So, in addition to the live music concerts, Terrapleno will also be hosting:
- Ferris wheel
- bumper car rides for children and adults
- extreme rides (Kanguro, Breack Dance and Mega Dance)
- children’s rides
- ghost house
- trampolines
- and games room
Open every day
Terrapleno de Santos will be open every day of the week, from Sunday to Thursday, from 4pm to 11pm; Fridays, Saturdays and public holiday eves, from 4pm to 1am.
Entrance to the Santo António festival grounds is free, but capacity is limited.
