The Alvalade district has already started to decorate itself for Lisbon’s Santos Populares, this time between June 12 and 14, at the São João de Brito Municipal Sports Complex.
As was the case last year, there will be free concerts, as well as activities and other shows for all tastes and ages, with special emphasis on children, who this year will once again have a special area where they can enjoy themselves freely.

The main stage will feature performances by well-known artists such as Toy, José Cid and Herman José, as well as the bands Ena Pá 2000, The Lucky Duckies and Deixa Rolá, among other special guests.

To accompany the music, the Santos Populares festivities in Alvalade also include dancing and lots of food and drink.
In addition to the traditional sardines stuffed into bread, there will also be bifanas, snails, hot dogs, roast suckling pig and farturas, as well as other sweets.
