Lisbon’s cultural agenda is buzzing with concerts, parties and other artistic events. On the music scene, for example, the big international names confirmed for 2026 are Iron Maiden and Twice. However, national artists are not forgotten either and one of the biggest Portuguese rock groups will be landing in Lisbon: Ornatos Violeta.
According to a statement sent to Lisboa Secreta, the band from Porto will come together for two unique concerts on November 14 and 15 at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA, one of the capital’s most famous venues, located on Avenida da Liberdade.
The group that rose to fame in the 1990s continues to win over new generations, thanks to the timelessness of their lyrics and the irreverence of their melodies. This is therefore a good opportunity to (re)discover albums such as “Cão” (1997) and “O Monstro Precisa de Amigos” (1999).

Ornatos Violeta fans can rest assured that the typology of the Tivoli BBVA Theater’s main hall will be adapted to meet the audience’s needs.
What does this mean? Well, the Golden Circle area will not be missing, nor will standing room be available on the second side balcony. It should also be noted that Manel Cruz’s group promises closeness, surprises and different musical arrangements for their return to theaters.
General ticket sales begin on October 1 and are available at the usual venues. Prices vary between €20 and €60.
