Open-air movie screenings are already a true summer classic in Lisbon, with similar events popping up all over the city. But this season, there’s something new waiting for you: a new hidden spot with a view of São Jorge Castle.
Organized by Cine Society, the Príncipe Real Terrace, on Calçada da Glória, stands out for its strategic yet almost “secret” location between the Church of São Roque and the São Pedro de Alcântara Viewpoint. Under the soft glow of the moonlight, screenings at this venue are available for a limited time.
From classics to recent titles
Open only between June and July, Cine Society’s new venue features a lineup that includes both classics and more recent titles, such as: “Roman Holiday,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Casablanca,” “The Notebook,” “10 Things I Hate About You,” “Sinners,” “A Star Is Born,” and many more.
In addition to outdoor film screenings, Príncipe Real Terrace will feature a rotating selection of dining concepts. In this way, Cine Society adds yet another venue to its list of outdoor cinema screenings, which span Lisbon, Cascais, and, most recently, Vila Nova de Gaia.
