Music occupies a special place in the cultural agenda of Greater Lisbon. There are major shows, but also smaller initiatives that help to ‘color’ and diversify the leisure and entertainment on offer. It is precisely with the aim of bringing generations together and decentralizing that the Oeiras International Jazz Festival (FIJO) is back, between February 18 and 28, at the Ruy de Carvalho Auditorium.
After the success of the first edition, which took place in 2025, the Oeiras City Council, in partnership with the Clave na Mão agency , decided to invest in FIJO again. This time, the festival dedicated to the world of jazz will last longer, going from four to eight days . In addition, there are more new features, namely the inclusion of an educational aspect in the event’s program with, for example, a masterclass.
