The NOS Alive music festival will return to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés, in Oeiras, on July 10, 11 and 12, 2025, the year it celebrates its 17th edition.
Since 2007, NOS Alive has established itself as one of the best festivals on the European circuit and was even considered the most prestigious music event of 2022.
Great artists, great concerts
The NOS Alive music festival has been the stage for memorable concerts by bands and artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Sam Smith, Grace Jones, Metallica, The Weeknd, Stromae, Lizzo, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, Florence + the Machine, Green Day, Neil Young, Bob Dylan or Pearl Jam, who returned to the Portuguese stage last year as headliners, after having been here in 2018.
NOS Stage
A number of artists and bands have already been confirmed for the 2025 edition, with young American artist Olivia Rodrigo being the first to be confirmed for the main stage.

Olivia Rodrigo
The 21-year-old first came to prominence as an actress in Disney series. However, in 2021, she made her music debut with her debutsingle, “Drivers License”, which quickly became a hit. From there, she gained even more attention with her debut album, “Sour” (2021). His most recent work, “Guts” (2023), was praised by the prestigious newspaper The New York Times.
Benson Boone
On his way to becoming one of pop’s top new names, the Washington artist captured attention in 2021 with his debut single “Ghost Town”, which entered the Billboard Hot 100. Benson Boone arrives in Portugal for the first time to perform on the first day of NOS Alive 25.
Noah Kahan
The American folk artist makes his debut in Portugal in 2025, on the NOS Stage, on July 10. Known for his hit “Stick Season”, Kahan arrives at the festival after selling out his own concert at BTS Hyde Park in London in less than 48 hours. A GRAMMY® nominee, Kahan stands out for his blend of Folk, Americana and Rock, with vulnerable and honest lyrics.
Mark Ambor
Mark Ambor is the latest confirmation for the NOS Stage, on July 10, the first day of the festival, to present his debut album. The 26-year-old New Yorker, author of the hit “Belong Together”, has sold out concerts all over the world, while topping several sales charts.

girl in red
Marie Ulven, from Oslo, continues her journey to global stardom. Her second album, “I’m Doing It Again Baby!”, released in April 2024, marked the beginning of a new era in girl in red’s career, with this being her debut with a major label. She is the first confirmation for the NOS Stage on July 11.
July 12th:
Kings of Leon
Returning to Portugal after 12 years, the Followill brothers’ (and cousin’s) band takes to the NOS Stage on July 12 at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés. Recognized as one of the biggest alternative rock bands in the world over the last 20 years, Kings of Leon have headlined the most prestigious festivals on the planet, including Coachella, Glastonbury, various editions of Lollapalooza in São Paulo (twice), Berlin (twice), Chicago and Santiago, as well as NOS Alive, to name but a few.
Heineken Stage
Future Islands, The Backseat Lovers and Artemas make up the remaining confirmations for the 2025 edition of NOS Alive, this time for the second stage, the Heineken.

Glass Animals
The English band have already confirmed their presence on the first day of the festival, on the Heineken Stage. Leader Dave Bayley, along with the rest of the band, have gained prominence with their debut album, ZABA (2014), which includes the hit “Gooey,” known for its exuberant and experimental sound.
Artemas
After the success of “I like the way you kiss me”, the English Cypriot singer, songwriter and music producer performs on the first day of the festival, July 10. Developing a distinctive Alternative Pop sound through his relatable lyrics and catchy melodies, Artemas has collected over a billion streams on digital.
Barry Can’t Swim
The Scottish producer and DJ, whose music combines global influences and a progressive approach, with elements of jazz and electronica, makes his debut on the first day of the festival, July 10, on the Heineken Stage, to present his debut album “When Will We Land?”, as well as his biggest hit to date, “Still Riding”, released in 2024.
Parov Stelar
Marcus Fuereder, aka Parov Stelar, is one of Austria’s most globally recognized artists , thanks to his unique fusion of music and art. A pioneer in the “Electro Swing” genre, he has performed more than 1,000 live shows, including concerts at festivals such as NOS Alive, Coachella and Glastonbury, and at iconic venues such as London’s Alexandra Palace. The electronic music phenomenon is the latest confirmation for NOS Alive’25, to perform on July 10 on the Heineken Stage.
July 11th:
St. Vincent
Annie Clark made her recording debut as St. Vincent in 2007 with Marry Me, and was quickly regarded as one of the most innovative and fascinating presences in modern music. St. Vincent will be presenting her seventh album at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 11 on the Heineken Stage.
The Backseat Lovers
The Indie Rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah, made up of Joshua Harmon, Jonas Swanson, KJ Ward and Juice Welch, have already exceeded 800 million streams worldwide and sold over 200,000 tickets. They are performing for the first time at NOS Alive for an energetic show with some of their fans’ favorite songs.
The Teskey Brothers
After the biggest European tour of their career, the Australian duo are returning to the stage in 2025. In all, they have sold more than 65,000 tickets across Europe in 2024 alone and are now preparing to take to the Heineken stage at the 17th edition of NOS Alive, joining St. Vincent and The Backseat Lovers on the second day of the festival.
Mother Mother
With remarkable growth over the last three years, it was in 2022 that they catapulted themselves to a new level of universal success, driven by the release of their eighth studio album, “Inside”, from which came the platinum “Hayloft II,” which won over audiences all over the world. The Canadian group is the latest confirmation for the Heineken Stage on the second day of NOS Alive 25, July 11.
July 12th:
Future Islands
They arrive in Lisbon on July 12 to present their new album “People Who Aren’t There Anymore”, a record that reveals enthusiasm, devastation, understanding, and captures all of Future Islands’ intensity in the studio.
CMAT
Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson (CMAT) is an Irish singer-songwriter known for her witty lyrics that blend Pop, Country and Folk influences in a unique way, reminding us of the melodies of Dolly Parton, Kate Bush and Lily Allen. She makes her debut at the Passeio Marítimo de Algés on July 12, on the Heineken Stage.
Amyl and The Sniffers
The Australian punk rock band takes to the Heineken Stage on July 12 with a new album in the bag, “Cartoon Darkness”, released last October. The album is “about the climate crisis, war, artificial intelligence, and people feeling like they’re helping by having a voice online, when really we’re just feeding the Big Tech data machine, our modern God”, says Amy Taylor.
Foster The People
Inspired by the musical innovation of the 70s and 80s, Mark Foster incorporated elements of Funk, Disco, Gospel and Jazz alongside synthesizers and orchestral arrangements to create a rich and multifaceted sound, where songs like “Lost in Space” and “Glitchzig” stand out for mixing danceable melodies with introspective lyrics. Mark Foster and Isom Innis’ band take to the Heineken Stage on the third day of the festival, July 12.
More artists to be announced soon
These are, for now, the first confirmations for one of Lisbon’s biggest music festivals, but we hope to announce more news at least until Christmas, when ticket sales for NOS Alive are expected to increase.
Tickets for the festival are already on sale, at prices ranging from 84€ (one day), 168€ (2-day pass) and 1909€ (3-day pass).
