Three, two, one… it’s not long now until we close another cycle and embrace a new beginning. And in Lisbon, the “New Year’s Eve” party promises lots of music, fireworks and a show of 250 drones that will fly through the skies of the capital on the night of December 31st to January 1st, 2026, in Terreiro do Paço.
According to EGEAC – Empresa de Gestão de Equipamentos e Animação Cultural, E.M.S., the New Year’s Eve party program includes many musical moments, including the presence of Plutonio, who takes to the stage from 10.30pm, bringing his hip-hop/trap and RnB rhythms.
However, the kick-off for a series of free shows will take place before then, with a performance by DJ Mojo, accompanied by MC Márcio Jesus. Together, the artists will provide a kind of pre-warm-up for a long night of afro house, pop, reggaeton and urban beats.
The big moment of “Fim D’Ano”
The “goodbye” to 2025 and “hello” to 2026 are expected to be simply spectacular.
After Plutonio’s concert, the countdown begins at midnight, followed by an amazing ten-minute firework display from the Tagus River, synchronized with the aforementioned display of 250 drones.
And to close?
To end the night on a high note, the “Fim D’Ano” party program includes another musical moment by DJ Mojo, accompanied by Host/Mc Helder Tavares. The highlight? An “I Love Reggaeton” musical journey , from the classics of the 2000s to the present day.
