For the first time, the Lumiar neighborhood will be hosting a Christmas edition of its traditional Grande Arraial do Lumiar.
With the promise of enchanting all its residents, as well as anyone who wants to visit this Lisbon neighborhood, at the Grande Arraial do Lumiar you’ll be able to enjoy a unique experience that combines the magic of Christmas with popular Portuguese traditions.
Where and when?
The Christmas edition of the Grande Arraial do Lumiar will take place between December 6 and 29, in Jardim Caldeira Cabral, in Telheiras, right next to the metro exit, which will give you faster and more convenient access, as you don’t even have to worry about parking spaces.
You’ll find a space divided into various areas for fun and socializing, all of them well decorated to reflect the Christmas spirit that is always alive at this time of year.
You’ll be able to shop at the Christmas market, full of handcrafted products and where you can find unique gifts; as well as the gastronomic area, where you’ll find traditional delicacies from this festive season.
You’ll also find an Enchanted Forest, which includes a tree climbing trail, and a 100m2 playground full of balls for the little ones to enjoy.
24 days of pure fun
During the 24 days of this Christmas event, from December 6 to 29, there will be plenty of reasons for all families to have fun, with a schedule designed to satisfy everyone, and during the school vacations, starting on December 18, there will be even more hours to enjoy all the activities of the Grande Arraial do Lumiar.

Admission will be free, allowing everyone to take part and enjoy the festivities without looking at their wallets.
