The date is set: October 10, in a previously inaccessible area of the Lisbon Metro at Olaiais Station— one of Lisbon’s most beautiful stations— which will be transformed into a full-fledged dance floor for one night only, featuring eight hours of electronic music.
An unprecedented event in the city
If you pass through the Olaiais metro station every day, it certainly wouldn’t occur to you that, right beneath your feet, there’s a secret underground area that, on October 10, will be transformed into a dance floor for an immersive electronic music experience unlike anything seen before, featuring a performance by the Portuguese duo MXGPU, among other guests.
Following Live Over Lisbon, where the DJ duo performed on a platform above the Tagus River, comes the new project Live Under Lisbon— a clear nod to a new musical performance, this time underground.
From the sky to the depths: the evolution of sound
There will be more than eight hours of nonstop music in a space hosting a one-of-a-kind party, happening only on this date, making this a highly exclusive event.
This descent into Lisbon’s underground is yet another creative venture by Moullinex (Luís Clara Gomes) and GPU Panic (Guilherme Tomé Ribeiro),featuring a series of new tracks that showcase a more incisive, futuristic sound , squarely geared toward pureclubbing.
But the musicians won’t be performing alone; the full lineup for all eight hours of music will be announced soon.
Curated by a duo of Portuguese producers—who are still in the creative process— the new show will feature plenty of special effects and lighting, ensuring that everyone lucky enough to have a ticket can enjoy an absolutely unique experience.
