If you still don’t know what to do this month in Lisbon, the Empresa de Gestão de Equipamentos e Animação Cultural (EGEAC) has prepared a program packed with activities as part of the April Festivities. However , this year, there’s something new: instead of focusing primarily on the values of April and the Carnation Revolution, the goal is to celebrate “spring, freedom, and heritage.”
The cultural program is extensive and includes six main free events, such as concerts, the GNR’s Charanga a Cavalo, comedy acts, guided tours, and more. All of this to mark “the return of the sun and the swallows,” as EGEAC states in a press release sent to Lisboa Secreta. But shall we now take a look at some highlights of the April Festivities?
