Lisbon is already breathing Christmas, with the lights coming on, the events and, of course, the magic. However, Christmas that is Christmas must include some (almost) obligatory classics, such as those timeless films that we watch together as a family as if for the first time. And “Home Alone” is one of them. But now comes the innovative concert form.
“Home Alone in Concert” will take place on November 30 at 9pm at the MEO Arena, in a joint initiative between Canal Hollywood and the Lisbon Film Orchestra (LFO).
In all, more than 120 LFO musicians and choristers will perform John Williams’ unforgettable soundtrack live, with a full screening of the movie to accompany, transforming the setting into a truly immersive experience.
We are preparing an unprecedented experience: Kevin McCallister’s laughter will echo on the big screen, accompanied note for note by musicians and choralists from a symphony orchestra playing and singing the original soundtrack live . We are pioneers in the country in producing a concert film of this scale,” said Jorge Ruano, Marketing Director of Dreamia/Canal Hollywood, in a statement.
Tickets are on sale from €31 at the usual outlets, with a 15% family pack discount (for a minimum of four tickets).
