Between the weight of history and a breathtaking view, the Monastery of São Vicente de Fora will be the setting for another edition of “(H)á Noite no Mosteiro”. The initiative will take place on October 31 and is aimed at kids and adults looking for a different experience.
The event, promoted by the Peddy+ tourism company, offers an alternative to Halloween: get away from the pumpkins and scary masks in exchange for a dip in the heritage. Get ready for an unforgettable night walk, where a guide will reveal the centuries-old history of the monument and some of its best-kept secrets.
The Mystery of the Night in São Vicente
“(H)á Noite no Mosteiro” is an initiative aimed especially at those looking to combine an intimate and immersive experience with the mystery and solemn beauty of a monastic space, culminating on the church’s terrace, with a spectacular view over Lisbon.
On the evening of October 31, the meeting point for the themed tour is Largo São Vicente, starting at 21:15 and ending at 22:45. The experience costs €15 for children under 12 and €20 for adults.
