The Festas do Mar return to Cascais Bay, just like last year, in a model divided into two weekends: between August 22 and 25, and from August 29 to September 1. Admission is free!
This is already considered the “coolest” music festival in Greater Lisbon, away from the heat peaks and close to the Atlantic.
It’s also an event that “waits” for all those who choose the beginning of August for their vacations and who therefore rarely manage to attend these Sea Festivities, in Cascais.
Concerts on two stages… and fireworks
Also like last year, in addition to the model of two long weekends, the Festas do Mar in Cascais Bay bring many other novelties:
- It will once again have two stages, the Main Stage, in the middle of Cascais Bay, and the Sagres Stage, which will be in the vicinity of the Citadel, continuing, as always, to focus on national music, with well-known names and new talents;
- Children’s concerts: of the four daily concerts, one is dedicated to the little ones;
- And on the last day, a unique concert by the Cascais Symphony Orchestra, which will play the best songs from 40 years of the RFM radio program “Oceano Pacífico”. The concert will be broadcast live on RFM, the festival’s partner.
- Another highlight was the procession in honor of Our Lady of the Navigators.
