After early bird tickets sold out in a matter of minutes, the Evil Live Festival, dedicated to heavier sounds, has just announced another batch of confirmations for the 2025 line-up, which will take place for the first time outdoors, at the Restelo Stadium, after a few editions at the MEO Arena.
With proposals ranging from mainstream to alternative rock, from heavy riffs to new trends, the Evil Alive Festival will finally take place where it has always wanted to be, in Belém. We remember that the first edition of this festival, still under the name VOA Heavy Rock, never took place at the Os Belenenses stadium due to a structural problem with the stage.
That’s not to say that the strident past editions in Parque das Nações weren’t memorable, but we believe that a show of this scale is better when it’s held outdoors, and for many more people.

The first national bands
As the press release we received from Prime Artists, the event’s promoters, says, “home-grown talent” also shines at the Evil Festival, and they are excited to announce the first national bands confirmed for the 2025 edition.
The event’s stage will host three colossi of the Portuguese music scene: R.A.M.P., Bizzara Locomotiva and Gaerea, three names that reinforce the festival’s commitment to reflecting the richness and diversity of music made with guitars, providing a transversal experience.
R.A.M.P. are a highlight of this new round of confirmations, recognized as one of the most emblematic bands in Portuguese metal, with a career spanning more than three decades marked by countless successes.
Bizzara Locomotiva bring with them a visceral and raw intensity that few can match, also with a career spanning more than three decades that has become a unique phenomenon, fusing industrial and metal with a theatrical approach capable of capturing the attention of all who see them on stage.
Gaerea, meanwhile, continue to establish themselves as one of the most important acts in contemporary extreme metal, taking Portugal’s name to international stages with an undeniable dose of talent and a unique artistic approach.

Judas Priest
Heavy metal wouldn’t be what it is today without the incredible standard-bearers Judas Priest, who have been playing all over the world for more than 50 years, now returning to Lisbon to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the classic “Painkiller”, in what promises to be a night of many emotions for fans of several generations.
The English heavy metal band has sold more than 50 million records around the world, playing one of the most important roles in the sound and image of this musical genre.
They won a Grammy for Best Performance in 2010 and were also inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, consolidating their importance as heavy metal legends.

We’re sure to hear songs from Korn’s self-titled debut album, released in 1994, which is considered a milestone in the development of Nu-Metal and has influenced a generation of musicians who love the genre.
With more than 35 million records sold worldwide and several platinum albums to their name, Korn have won two Grammy Awards, as well as the MTV Video Music Awards for their famous “Freak on a Leash” video.

With the resurgence of one of the most powerful metal bands of all time, it was only to be expected that the first announcement of the Evil Live Festival would be the Americans Slipknot, announced on December 3, 2025, as one of the headliners for the 2025 edition.
The day they’ll be performing is now known, June 29, after their last foray onto our stages, also at Evil Live, but at the MEO Arena in 2023.
