The Web Summit Lisbon, which is taking place from November 11 to 14, is the best excuse I can think of to start changing your home-work-home routines, if you haven’t already.
Getting out of the office and going for a drink with your work colleagues is one of the best things you can do.
As well as helping to strengthen friendships and create common interests between desk partners, it allows you, in a more relaxed way, to explore other kinds of subjects that have nothing to do with your 9 to 5 routine.
Below you’ll find a list of places you can go after the doors of Web Summit Lisboa close.
And many of these places will still be here after the big tech event. So if you can’t make it to all of them now, you can do it later or whenever you feel like it.

Immersive theater play unique in the country
“The Death of the Raven” is one of the plays everyone is talking about! It’s an immersive experience that will take you “traveling” through the crazy and hallucinated minds of Edgar Allan Poe and Fernando Pessoa, touring more than 28 theaters in a show unlike anything you’ve ever seen or been to.
In this intense thriller you’ll be able to (per)follow nine characters, each with their own characteristics, in a story that is told without any speech, only with body expression and choreographic movements.

Beer tasting in Beato
While you’re in Marvila, head to the Beato district to see the largest beer counter in the country, measuring around 30 meters in length.
There you’ll find the new Browers Beato bar/restaurant/event room, which will offer you a wide variety of 15 of its own craft beers and seven others from national and international brands.
Classic Lisbon: from Bairro Alto to Cais do Sodré
Lisbon’s nightlife takes place mainly in these two typical neighborhoods. No one visits the city without passing through one of these bars or restaurants. It’s a must!
Luís de Camões Square
Networking isn’t just about closed spaces, noise and discreet drinking. Praça Luís de Camões is one of the city’s most popular meeting points, or it wouldn’t be halfway between Chiado and the bohemian Bairro Alto.
Pink Street
It’s already one of the most photographed streets in Lisbon, largely due to the pink color with which it has been decorated, and has already been used as a networking stage by the Web Summit organizers themselves.
Minigolf
Ready for a fun evening with friends or office colleagues? Here you can play minigolf indoors, as well as other more psychedelic surprises.
Indoor MiniGolf Lisboa is one of the latest experiences you can have in Lisbon and, as the name suggests, it doesn’t matter if it’s cold or raining outside because this is an indoor space where you can have fun with your friends.
Wine tasting
Some people are looking for quieter leisure activities, but that doesn’t mean they’re any less fun. Our next suggestion takes you to From The Vine – Wine Tasting Bar, the new afterworks spot!
After this tasting, accompanied by an expert guide, you’ll learn about the history of Portuguese wine and the complexity of our grapes, their regions and the importance of this drink in our culture and history and throughout the world, by tasting three different wines from three wine regions in our country.
